Well Damn! That’s all I can say. Avatar is making money like there’s no tomorrow. Current Avatar’s earnings stepped over $2 Billion US making it the first movie in history to earn more than two billion dollars and Avatar is still showing. It’s a movie you can still go to see in a movie theater and you will sit in a sold out room – how much are the earnings going to grow once DVDs are released and once Lightstorm Entertainment starts milking obsessed Avatar fans with release of fan cards, figurines and whatever else can be utilized to make more money? Take a look at the picture above. If you split Avatar’s earnings into one hundred dollar bills, this is how big a pile you would get. Almost 24 palettes stacked up high with one hundred dollar bills. Damn!
According to Box Office Mojo, current Avatar’s earnings are exactly at $2,039,200.00 range. Of this total, 29.2% or $594.5 Million was earned in the USA, and 70.8% or 1,444.8 Million was earned overseas. Avatar is pretty damn popular all over the world, as you can see. And these earnings will not even reflect future earnings of 3D TV Manufacturers who will see lots of sales of their home 3D TV Sets thanks to Avatar. I saw the movie, I liked it, but it would never have occurred to me that it will be such massively successful. Just damn. Avatar’s earnings continue to grow. i predict more than $3 Billion when all is said and done and Avatar has earned a few Oscars.
The news is that all three children of Michael Jackson will be at the Grammys on January 31, 2010 and will give some kind of speech as part of Grammys’ tribute for the King of Pop. People behind the Grammys must be starving for talent now that Michael Jackson is dead.
Michael Jackson has three children. His firstborn son Prince Michael Jackson was born in 1997, his only daughter Paris Michael Katherine Jackson was born in 1998 and his youngest child Prince Michael II Jackson (aka Blanket) was born as recently as in 2002. They all are expected to be at the Grammys along with some other members of the Jackson’s family. 2010 Grammys will take place in the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Speeches at mega events like the Grammys or Oscars are major snoozers so it’s normal the organizers are looking for something that will spark the interest of general public. They can’t replicate Kanye West and his failed, pre-arranged bust of Taylor Swift cause that’s already been used, so how about bringing Michael Jackson’s children? That should work right? Children of deceased mega stars should boost views and ratings and that’s what they desperately need at the Grammys. Put kids in the spotlight and have them say some heart breaking words and possibly shed a tear and your views will instantly sky rocket.
It’s also likely that The Jackson family agreed with it and supported it in exchange for some mad cash. Since Michael is no longer with us (or is he?), might as well abuse his children to milk some money at his death. Joe Jackson, the father of Michael especially seems to be the one who would not hesitate to sell anything out for money and publicity. Joe Jackson is also said to have been invited to attend the 2010 Grammys. Leave the kids alone.

Oh the irony. Or should I say: “What goes around, comes around” instead? Scott Siegel, the actor who plays steroid dealer in the Oscar-nominated movie The Wrestler featuring Mickey Rourke has been arrested for steroid dealing in real life.
Former wrestler Scott Siegel is not new to prisons and steroid trafficking. He’s been arrested for the same crime before and spend four years in jail for steroid trafficking. I guess scoring a role in an Oscar nominated movie was not good enough of an easy income for the guy, so he decided to get some more cash flowing through his pockets by dealing what he has most experience to deal – steroids.
Last Wednesday, Scott Siegel was seen by DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) officers picking up suspicioous package in New Rochelle. Officers cornered Scott Siegel, who rammed through police vehicles leading them on a high speed chase. After the police caught up with him and disabled his vehicle, Scott Siegel jumped out of his car and continued to flee on foot – dumbass. Cops captured Scott Siegel in Eastchester, New York, but he kept fighting them off. All this ordeal landed him assaulting a federal officer charges and of course steroid distribution charges (schedule III controlled substance).
With Oscar’s night coming up this Sunday and The Wrestler being one of the nominees for the best picture, I’m sure Mickey Rourke is not impressed Scott Siegel fucked it up the way he did. The police say they found 1,500 bottles of anabolic steroids, as well as $100,000 in cash on him. Roids are bad for you kids, m’kay?
Gary Busey is the name of an actor who played the villain in first Spiderman movie opposite Tobey McGuire. This video is form tonight’s Oscar’s Awards ceremony. Ryan Gaycrest was on the red carpet attempting to interview Jennifer Garner and Laura Linney and Gary Busey chimed in making him look like a complete ass. It was hilarious. Garry must have been smoking funny shit to have a good time like that. Oh boy, yet another Oscar’s night.
