I really doubt it, but this is what happened. There was a new MySpace page that bears the name of David Motari – an alleged puppy killer – created and its “About Me” section contains an apology for puppy toss and an explaination that this video was filmed over a year ago and David Motari has no idea how it got out. He says it was a hard day and would just like for it all to end. He’s also surprised that someone got his home address as well as his home and girlfriend’s phone number and he was forced to get them disconnected because his family and girlfriend were being threatened and harassed.

Yesterday we have reported the most discussed topic on the internet in last few days – David Motari – US Marine Who Killed a Puppy. The controversial video in which a US marine tosses a black and white puppy over a rocky cliff to its death triggered major outrage among millions of internet users.
It didn’t take too long and internet was full of personal information pertaining to a soldier who is believed to be the one executing the puppy cliff throw. It is believed (but has not been confirmed) that the soldier killing a defenseless puppy is David Motari from Monroe, Washington, however there has not been any official confirmation of this assumption, hence we have refrained from posting his personal information on our blog, even though we had it readily available.
Little bit of googling can reveal it to you, however, should your heart desire to find out about him. It contains David Motari full address in Monroe, WA, his phone number (it was already disconnected because of millions of threatening phone calls the family received), even a picture of his car with his license plate (registered in Hawaii). The name of David Motari’s wife and the date of their wedding which took place earlier this year was also tracked down.
This all could be expected, with millions over millions people outraged there was bound to be someone who had this information or could easily find it out. The rest was simply the power of internet. And the word truly travels fast on the information highway.
The Pentagon is now examining and investigating on the video clip, but people around the world have already decided to take action themselves. The family of David Motari from Monroe, WA has been bombed by threats and harassment non stop. The police units now patrol the house to make sure the family is not subject to harm.
The video I posted yesterday was taken down by youtube admins (they are anal like that all the time). A new video is posted there now, however it is likely just a question of time before it is taken down again.
There has been unconfirmed guesses that the US marine who killed defenseless puppy by throwing it off the cliff and had good laugh with his buddies doing it is David Motari. The video itself is unconfirmed and it is possible the puppy was already dead when it was thrown over a cliff, and shrieking puppy cry was added afterwards in post production.
David Motari is a 22 years old lance corporal based at Hawaii, where he returned to from Iraq in October. Maj. Chris Perrine of the Marine Corps Base Hawaii confirmed that it the puppy killer in the video truly appears to be one from their unit. Marine officials condemned the puppy killer videos, calling it “shocking and deplorable”. They are currently investigating the case, but the authenticity of the video has not been confirmed, nor has the puppy killer been identified as David Motari.
