Brooke Daniels – Portrait of New Miss Texas USA

Brooke Daniels, 22 year old model representing Harris County became new Miss Texas USA yesterday (Sunday) in the pageant in Loredo beating other 110 contestants. The portrait of Brooke Daniels is simple, even though she looks a bit plastic – I myself prefer girls next door types. New Miss Texas USA is a communication major at Sam Houston State University and aside from becoming Miss Texas she was also voted as “Most Photogenic” contestant. They really like plastic looking blonds over there in Texas.
Aside from Brooke Daniels, there were another three contestants from the Houston area that made it into the top five. Elise Horner – Miss Houston was first runner up and Ana Rodriguez, Miss Port Laredo, was second runner-up. Miss Montgomery County – Taylor Britton ended fourth and Miss Lake Austin – Tahnae Tarkenton finished fifth.
Miss Bayou City – Lauren Sapaugh won the People’s Choice Award.
