There has been unconfirmed guesses that the US marine who killed defenseless puppy by throwing it off the cliff and had good laugh with his buddies doing it is David Motari. The video itself is unconfirmed and it is possible the puppy was already dead when it was thrown over a cliff, and shrieking puppy cry was added afterwards in post production.
David Motari is a 22 years old lance corporal based at Hawaii, where he returned to from Iraq in October. Maj. Chris Perrine of the Marine Corps Base Hawaii confirmed that it the puppy killer in the video truly appears to be one from their unit. Marine officials condemned the puppy killer videos, calling it “shocking and deplorable”. They are currently investigating the case, but the authenticity of the video has not been confirmed, nor has the puppy killer been identified as David Motari.

Also I doubt the authenticity of this video because you hear the dog “barking” at the begginning of the video but it’s mouth never moves. It was probably already dead or the puppuy was a toy
Tom, the guy already admitted that he did throw the LIVE puppy because he was being “creative” instead of shooting it. He said it probably would have died, so he was “doing it a favor”.
David Motari is a sick bastard. I really hope they discharge him with dishonor. People are upset that people die too, but an innocent and defenseless animal died for his entertainment. And THAT is dishonorable!!!

The biggest reason that people feel so strongly about this is that the puppy is completely and utterly defenseless. A puppy is like a baby in that it completely relies on another for everything. If this were a video of a baby tossing, the outrage would be the same. It’s the ingrained human desire/emotion to protect those/that which are defenseless. I certainly hope that his life is a short one and that he gets his due. He was not doing it out of sympathy for the puppy as he states, nor was he being creative. He’s a sick fuck who deserves to hang for his actions. And for those who would argue that he’s doing his duty blah blah blah bullshit… he’s fighting in a war that should never have been started. I hope he comes back home and has to hide in a cave for the rest of his life… fucking wanker.
The whole “Crying for a puppy vs. crying for human life” thing is ridiculous.
Everyone who’s outraged because people are raising their voices against this idiot instead of raising their voices for loss of human life are missing the point.
1) Between the life of an animal or a human life, I would chose the human (Unless it’s this idiot Motari or a man convicted of killing someone);
2) This situation deals with the fact that Motari laughs at what he’s doing, filmed the whole damn thing, seemed to care for the dog yet tossed it down a f*cking cliff… What an imbecile;
3) if the dog was attacking him, I would’ve said “shoot it!” but this was a defensless puppy… Motari is the kind of scum that his parents should be convicted for creating the worst retard of any kind;
4) Soldiers are trained to fight and kill, but the enemy, not a defensless dog. If you can’t distinguish the difference then the Army should have the right to put the soldier down once they realize he’s lost his mind before he starts to hit his wife and kids or someone else when he gets back;
5) this video would’ve have the same neative feedback for this scum if they would’ve taped him shooting a defensless man, woman or child, it would’ve been even worse. I can only imagine what this idiot did over there on human beings that are not affiliated to the whole Al Quada movement…

Killing animals for the sake of killing is wrong! It was a puppy! Dumb little puppy, thrown over without any regrets at the time (btw someone on the vid said that he was sorry!?),and that is initial human response to something bad, a guilt maybe? So the vid is true, and what now?
US troops are desperate for blood like any other trained soldiers. They crave for battle, otherwise they’d be staying in Mc.Donalds grilling cheese. Why don’t those “soldiers” find a real job and not a government tit to suck on!!! Is it that so difficult to find a job in US that doesn’t involve puppy slaughter?
And don’t be scared about the image of America in the eyes of the world. Rest of the world don’t bother with that, it bothers only if you have the cash or if you don’t! One day American system will colapse because of the recources (for which they so badly crave) and they will try to find some other weapons of mass destruction scenario.
Try thinking about sustainable development, green energy, alternative sources, low power grade vehicles (you will live to see people ditching their SUV-s because of the gas prices),making a better and cleaner world for yourself, and for your kids.
About the soldier, well…he could have given that dog to some kid (that is already traumatized by the war torn way of living) and make his day a little bit brighter if possible.
