Owned. An employee of Macquarie Bank was part of a background scene when TV cameras were rolling for the live broadcast about some banking stuff. Said bank worker had his back turned towards the cameras so he didn’t see they were pointed at him, showing to the audiences what was on his monitor. As the reporter talked about boring banking stuff (interest rates), the worker’s screen popped several images of scantily clad women. It may be hard to call it porn, but it was definitely not work safe material.
Latest news has it that because the video of Macquarie Bank Worker checking out porn went viral on the internet, it has found its way to the bank’s management who said that the worker would be looking for another job. In other words, he got fired on the spot. It’s kind of priceless how he turns his head around when his colleague tells him that live TV cameras are in their bank. Everything came together at that very moment and the momentum held on until he was fired. Don’t watch porn at work – that’s the morale.
