Many unsavvy people associate Brazil with some positives because they can’t see the forest for the trees. You sound pretty ignorant in what youve said here. there are dangerous places in rio and throughout brazil but there are also good places to you just stay out of certain areas and follow certain rules like dont take home strangers and stay out of the slums
hands down one of the most uninformed misrepresentations of the city and its inhabitants. although there are some elements of truth to what you say, the over-generalizations you proclaim are far from true and paint a negative image of all of those growing up in rio’s vibrant favela communities…. terrible article!
…..just read your ‘about’ section and realize that given your objective, this article suits your purpose, but nevertheless, for better or worse, many people read without following up and this sort of information is unneccesary and creates negative stereotypes!
