Triskaidekaphobia? Easy Way to Overcome the Fear of Friday the 13th

I don’t get Triskaidekaphobia. I think it’s likely becuase I suffer form Triskaidekalaughia… All right, lame attempt at being funny on Friday the 13th, but this is kind of the way I feel. I can’t stress this loud enough – TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday. Laugh at it, switch from Triskaidekaphobia to Triskaidekalaughia (I know this ain’t no English word, but pretend it is for a day). Be glad the weekend is upon you and everything will seem finer.

I’ve never suffered form the Fear of Friday the 13th, but then again, every week seems so never ending for me. Mid week, on Wednesday, I was so tired i believed surely it must be Friday. The horrors of finding out it was only Wednesday and not only following day wasn’t Saturday, the following day wasn’t even Friday itself. It was still to be Thursday. No where bloody near weekend. Fear of Friday the 13th my ass. I fear of weekend not being near. I fear of every day that’s not Friday. I’m kicking Triskaidekaphobia, the fear of number 13 and the fear of Friday the 13th in particular in the ass, because the fear of all other days combined overpowers the fear of one single day. How’s that for a little therapy sessions?

BTW, if I make no sense, blame it on Friday the 13th. And go see The Happening. The producers timed the release of the movie out well, didn’t they. You can combine the scary movie with triskaidekaphobia and have a freaky end of the week. Hope your weekend kicks ass.
