Gothic Kittens – Not Funny At All (pics)

Gothic Kitten - Pierced Ears

Sadness before Christmas. These beautiful black kittens have been mutilated by piercings in order to make them look “gothic” so a mean person can make money off of it. Gothic Kittens were pierced in ears, neck and tail and ads for sale were posted on several classifieds and auction websites, including eBay. The woman from Luzerne County, Pennsylvania who was selling gothic kitten was tracked down and poor kitties were removed from the torturous home by humane officers.

Luzerne County officers from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals were notified after Gothic Kittens ads were reported by compassionate citizens. Sale of live animals is prohibited on eBay so that was easy to spot.

When humane officers obtained the search warrant from the judge and entered the house, they found three pierced kittens, one cat and there was also a dog that was pierced too. What cruel owner. The bitch needs to have her asshole pierced… Vlad Tepes style.

According to Timesleader, the homeowner was running a pets grooming service named Pawside Parlor in the basement of her house. She should have called it Kitten Torture Dungeon instead, fucking bitch!

You can help making this stupid bitch pay by contacting Wilkes-Barre Courthouse attorney Jackie Musto-Carol either by email at [email protected] or by phone at 570-825-1674. Insist on pressing this case to the fullest extent of the law including jail time. I hope this is the last time we hear of such atrocity as Gothic Kittens.

Crazy Dog Having Time of his Life in Piles of Snow (video)

This is one absolutely awesome video of a dog having time of his life plowing through piles of snow. According to YouTube user baileyandfriends, the video was recorded in late 1990′s in Colorado after a heavy snow blizzard. Bailey the dog went absolutely nuts throwing himself into the snow and just plowing his way through thoroughly buries in white oblivion.

I’m not a dog expert so I can’t tell you what breed Bailey the dog is, but maybe some of the readers will know and fill the rest of us in. The video is accompanied by a pretty obnoxious Christmas tune, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Dragon Millipede – Creepy Pink Newly Discovered Creature (pic)

Dragon Millipede - Creepy Pink Newly Discovered Creature (pic)

Dragon millipede (Desmoxytes purpurosea) is another one of the newly discovered species of creepy creatures from the Mekong Delta in South-East Asia. Unlike cute Gumbrechts Green Pit Viper, Dragon Millipede is creepy pink and has countless legs that would scare the shit out of me even if I was a notorious centipede predator. I don’t even know which birds feed of millipedes, but I’d stay the heck away. Dragon Millipede look so toxic I wouldn’t dare touching. Nevermind swallowing.

Since its discovery, Dragon Millipedes have secured themselves a spot in Top Ten New Species list of Arizona State University. Take a look at the list HERE. These little creatures are only as big as a thumb (would be creepier if they were bigger) and capable of producing poisonous cyanide as protection mechanism.

Gumbrechts Green Pit Viper Discovered in Mekong Delta (pics)

Look at this beauty. This is a picture of a Gumbrechts Green Pit Viper (Trimeresurus gumprechti). Aside from Gumbrechts Green Pit Vipers, scientists have discovered over 1000 species of animals in Mekong Delta in south-east Asia in last 10 years, many of them believed to have been extinct.

Mekong delta spans from Cambodia, through Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and province of Yunnan in China. Gumbrechts Green Pit Viper is the coolest animal I have seen in a long time.

Dog Saves Dog Video

This is one of those things that will make your heart bleed. This dog saves dog video starts with a gruesome recording of one dog getting hit by a car. Towards the end of video another dog enters to scene and despite busy traffic, starts pulling the injured dog, that was still alive to the side of the road, away from crazy traffic. Realizing that injured dog is in pain, the saving dog used his paws, rather than teeth to drag wounded animal to safety.

Dog saves dos is an incredible showcase of animal genuinity and care. I wish one could say that about people. While dog risks his life to save another pooch, no driver actually stopped. They showed no respect for other living creatures. It’s terrible.

I have just returned from Cuba where street dog problem seems to take a whole new level. There are countless numbers of them – unspayed, unneutered, they continue to breed, without home, without anyone to look after them, filling up the streets and roads everywhere. I was driving a rented car and stopped several times, not only for dog, but also cats and a particular bird that looks like a small dove (they run across roads not watching out). I can honestly proclaim that I have not hit another animal. Too bad other drivers are not like that. Luckily, injured dogs have other dogs to look after them.

It’s a beautiful dog saves dog video to make your miserable Friday morning better.

Octopus – Intelligent and Flexible Animal

Octopus - Intelligent and Flexible Animal

Octopus - Intelligent and Flexible Animal

I didn’t have slightest idea that octopi (that’s the plural of octopus) are such intelligent and extremely flexible animals. In my next life I want to be an octopus. I mean I love cats, but seeing how insanely intelligent octopi are, and how incredibly they’re equipped with many slick arms and flexibility that would make a cat steam with envy – I want to be an octopus.

The video below is a document by scientists testing the intelligence of octopi. They’re literally running IQ tests on an octopus they have. And behold, each of the IQ tests has been passed with ease. Octopus is an extremely intelligent animal. And then when I saw insane flexibility an octopus sports – OMG, I want to be an octopus.

Octopi can grow into virtually unlimited size. There is no wonder sailors and pirates from the past had stories of Kraken and other crazy creatures of the sea. Single octopus with its intelligence and flexibility could own a ship with its crew easily. I’m in awe.

Snakehead Fish in Catlin Creek and Ridgebury Lake Poisoned

Snakehead Fish in Catlin Creek and Ridgebury Lake Poisoned

Snakehead Fish are aggressive predator fish native to Asia that somehow made their way to New York and started their merciless slaughter of native species in Catlin Creek and Ridgebury Lake. Officials had to take drastic measures and poisoned the water in both the creek and the lake with pesticides to eliminate unwanted Snakehead Fish.

New York biologists say Catlin Creek and Ridgebury Lake were invaded by Northern Snakehead Fish and action was needed before they could spread to other state’s bodies of water. Organic pesticide Rotenone was used to poison Snakehead Fish and so far the biologists found 220 of them dead throughout Orange County.

Poisoning of Catlin Creek and Ridgebury Lake in the town of Wawayanda also claimed lives of eight tons of other fish, but drastic measures were necessary to prevent bigger disaster. 1400 native fish were removed from the water prior to application of Rotenone. All of them will be returned to their natural habitat after the organic pesticide completely dissipated.

Snakehead Fish are an aggressive predator of native fishes and swift action was required in order to prevent their spread to the Wallkill and Hudson rivers. So far it looks like the action was fruitful.

Chupacabra Video Recorded by Police on Board Cam in Cuero, Texas

Chupacabra Video Recorded by Police on Board Cam in Cuero, Texas

Cuero in Dewitt County, Texas is Chupacabra capital of the world. Last Friday, Cpl. Brandon Riedel – one of their cops on duty went to patrol the back roads when he spotted a strange creature running in front of his car. He turned on the on board cam that police cruisers have mounted and recorded what could become a real video of a real chupacabra.

Chupacabra recorded on the video in Cuero is about a size of coyote but it’s hairless and has prolonged snout. It looked remarkably similar to the creature that was found on shore in Montauk, NY last month or the one from Peru found last year. In former case the DNA tests proved the creature was a Brazilian pig, in latter it was some form of coyote. No real mystical chupacabra yet but this last one from Cuero, Texas has not been caught yet.

Whether Cuero is home to real chupacabra, or just mutant coyotes remains mystery.

Alligator Crushing Turtle with Ease – Really Powerful Jaws

This is nuts. Giant Alligator, a North Australian Crocodile snaps at a turtle with his jaws and crushes it with ease like it has no shell. It got a little bit crunchy, but the powerful jaws of an alligator had no issue destroying the turtle before eating it. Actually, he just swallowed it. They’ve got giant neck, they just sort of slide it through.

Seriously, don’t mess with an alligator. I wouldn’t want to get hose sharp teeth and powerful jaws to bite anywhere on me. It’d snap in an instant. Damn…

Insane Video of Bunny Rabbit Fighting Against Crows

An incredible video of a bunny rabbit defending itself, its turf and its pride against a flock of aggressive crows was recorded by an unknown individual and posted on YouTube. Outnumbered, little bunny rabbit goes right against the crows fighting bravely and tirelessly and it looks like he actually busted one of the crows so bad, it’s on the brink of dying. The one that’s right against the wall doesn’t look good. Bunny probably deployed his carrot sharpened teeth and bit crow’s beak off. The crow still could be saved. Some good people once found a bald eagle in Alaska that had her beak shot off and saved her. If i found an injured crow somewhere, I’d totally save her and have her rest on my shoulder. I’d buy myself a long trench coat, put make up on and have my name changed to Eric Draven. I’d get best seat in the bus that way ;)
