Former NFL running back and a Pittsburgh Steelers star Timothy Worley was tasered and arrested by Smyrna police for “becoming confrontational”. The whole incident was caught on police cruiser camera.

Timothy Worley was pulled over for speeding and lane violation (lane violation? WTF???). He told the police officer he had no ID, which was obviously just a lame excuse at trying to get himself out of this (not like it would work).

There is no denying that Timothy Worley acted like an ass. You don’t use foul language and you obey instruction of a police officer, but in this case it does seem like the cop was needlessly aggregated and very trigger happy. Timothy Worley was not confrontational to begin with, he seems to have been pushed to the limit until he flipped.

I’m not a cop so I don’t know what proper procedures are, but it is possible this is what cops need to do in order to conduct their job properly. Imagine you are a cop, you pull over a huge guy who has no IDs. It may be a safe practice to handcuff a guy until he can verify his identity, but I’m only guessing here.

From the video it appears as though Timothy Worley was swearing and using all other forms of rude language. That may be enough to get a person detained. Add to it speeding and lane violation (I believe there was also a DUI which came to light later) and you have a good reason to detain a person. Timothy Worley then says at some point – “do what you gotta do, officer” and he did. But when asked to put his hand behind his back, Timothy Worley responded with violence and yelled at the cop to get his hands off him, which prompted the cop to use a taser. Sounds like a fair use of taser to me.

All right, this is NBA player Kobe Bryant pulling off an insane stunt by jumping over a running car. He clears is smooth and it looks awesome, but I have some serious doubt about the authenticity of this video.

When you pause it and play frame by frame, it appears as though Kobe Bryant is closer to the camera than the car, but the way camera is positioned makes it look in line. This same effect was used throughout the Lord of the Rings to make hobbits looks smaller. I think the car was passing safely by the side of Kobe and he only made half the jump he needed in order to make it look like he cleared the car.

I also don’t think the Lakers would allow him to attempt crazy stunts where he could endanger his health and possibly performance during the rest of the NBA season. I’m not an expert, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a clause in his multi million dollar contract that prohibits him from performing reckless acts during his spare time which could cause harm to his body and paralyze him from playing for the team. Plus if something happened to him, he would danger his million dollar salary and who would do that?

One thing is for sure – first fan of Lakers sees it and is gonna try that shit at home. Dumbasses.

This is the video from Pride 31 fighting championship between Russian monster Roman Zentsov and BrazilianPedro Rizzo. And Roman Zentsov delivered. He knocked Pedro Rizzo the fuck out. He completely obliterated the Brazilian with a single punch. I mean, Pedro Rizzo will probably spend the rest of his life peeing the linen at night. Roman Zentsov is a monster.

Fedor Emelianenko was in the audience too and cheered with Roman big time after the knock out. Very nice fight, sucks for Pedro. This is definitely one of the best knock outs ever recorded on camera. Roman gave Pedro no chance.

Kobe Bryant of LA Lakers did this awesome throw last Sunday as he was leaving for a changing room. He bent over, picked up white towel from the floor and just casually threw it giving it random spins. The towel landed right on the face of an old lady who happened to be just sitting there. This video is an awesome slow motion of that hot incident. I totally love Kobe Bryant. Awesome throw. NBA has got to be proud.

Lady’s got stories to tell now. She went to see an NBA game and ended up with white stuff all over her face from one of the basketball players. Who’s gonna start the countdown till the towel is for sale on eBay?

Cyclist Floyd Landis won 2006 Tour De France championship but his victory was spoiled by the doping scandal after the tests showed that he used synthetic testosterone. Floyd Landis kept denying the use of performance enhancing drugs but he lost his 4 months long fight today after the results of the tests have been confirmed. What this all means for Floyd Landis, is that he loses his 2006 Tour De France title, and gets suspended for 2 years so he won’t be able to race in near future.

He still has a last resort and can appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports. If he doesn’t appeal or is his appeal is denied, Floyd Landis will become the first case in the 105 years long history of Tour De France to lose the title because of a doping violation.

The McLaren Formula 1 team was fined $100 million for allegedly using Ferrari’s technical documents which McLaren leaked by some means – aka spying on Ferrari. All of McLaren constructor’s points were taken off as a result of this scandal… Now – F1 is one big drama, as you can see… But $100 fucking million? That’s insane, man… Though, mind you… that’s probably a pocket change for a giant of McLaren ranks, however it’s still hundred mil and that’s a lot no matter how big an entity you are.

Ferrari is McLaren’s main and biggest rival. They are both great teams and McLaren seems to have been deemed world’s best, but after spying on their rival scandal I wander what people are gonna see them as. I don’t know what they were thinking. It’s logical – if you’re spying on your rival, you best make sure you don’t get caught. It must be an overall very good feeling for Ferrari team though – knowing that team McLaren, generally considered the best is spying on you. If your superiors are spying on you, then it clearly proves even they realize that you are better despite their higher rank.

After undergoing arthroscopy and a microfracture surgery following the cartilage damage found by the doctors, Greg Oden who was the #1 pick in the NBA draft for 2007 will not play this season. Greg Oden is a National Basketball Association center for Portland Trail Blazers. It takes 6-12 months to fully recover from the surgery and Greg Oden is likely to spend his initial 8 weeks on crutches.

I surely hope Greg gets well soon. Portland Trail Blazers have a good team anyway and should be able t make the play offs. even without their 7-foot tall Oden. He’s young, only 19 years old so my thinking is that his knees haven’t gone through that much high profile basketball, so hopefully we’ll see Greg Oden recovered for the 2008/09 season.
