Courtney Love has settled a lawsuit brought against her by the attorneys who represented her in legal battles with the surviving members of Nirvana. Katherine Hendricks and O. Yale Lewis claimed that Courtney Love owed them more than $340,000, plus interest, for their work on a 2002 suit that Courtney Love filed against Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl. Courtney Love, controller of the share of Nirvana’s business that had belonged to her late husband, Kurt Cobain, allegedly did not fully pay her lawyers, even though she eventually earned at least $9 million as a result of that suit. Courtney Love settled with Hendricks and Lewis for an undisclosed sum, and the settlement went into effect on September 17.
