Madonna Cries After Stage Collapse, Marseille Audience Cheers

Two people were killed when a stage they were setting up for Madonna’s concert in Marseille, France collapsed. Authorities say that the stage was 2/3 set up when it came crushing down. About 50 people were involved in the stage set up process out of which about a dozen were underneath the stage when it collapsed. Four cranes were lifting up the roof when it slipped off balance and toppled one of the cranes sending it down along with the roof on the people below.

Madonna played that Marseille concert and paused to pay tribute to two men who were killed when stage collapsed. Being a professional stage performer, she burst into tears and sobbed her words out. Marseille audience either did not quite understand what she was saying or took her cries as staged, opportunistic performance which it at the end of the day actually was.

Obviously the fans were too jazzed up to get what was going on with Madonna. They had the complete inappropriate response to her tribute for her stage crew. The clapping and cheering must have made her feel awful!

The French make me sick. The entire world revolves around France as far as they’re concerned. I fully respect the remainder of the Euro nations, but the French just don’t get it. Nor do they care about anything but themselves.

Well, it’s nice that you bashed the French like that Jake, but unfortunately this concert was in Udine, Italy (It says it on the video.). So these are Italians. I don’t know if you still feel the same way about them, just putting it out there. You know, I doubt that most of them speak English. Although, they can see she’s crying, but may not know what it’s about so, hey, cheer for Madonna! Either way, creepy.

Bashing the French is sad I’ve been to France and loved it there and admire the French all the time. They’re one of the most artistic cultures on earth, great film, museums, bboys or in general hiphop scene, they also have a great health care system and their first lady is bangin! I really can’t stand reading hate speech so I had to say something. I’ve always thought people that hate the French must just be jelous because why would you hate them otherwise?But like the last guy said the Italian fans probably didn’t quite know what she was saying and after that tragic earthquake they had that people are still dealing with the aftermath of where many people lost lives and homes I would assume they would be more sympathetic towards death
