Queens Of The Stone Age Wants To Record More Often

Like his colleagues Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and Maynard James Keenan of Tool, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is tired of the current music industry cycle of putting out new music only once every two years. Homme told us that he’d like to accelerate the process: “This idea of putting out a record and then touring for two years, and then waiting another two years because you’re working on a record…the one thing that we’re actually looking at, and because the band is so on the move right now, is trying to record more. We’re trying to figure out how to tour but work, because I think for everyone right now, the idea of creating something is even more sort of enticing than going on the road.”The latest single and video from Era Vulgaris is “3′s and 7′s.”
