Keira Knightley Edge of Love Video Clip - Great Singing
May 31st, 2008Wow, I had no idea Keira Knightley could sing this well. The make up is horrendous, but I guess you got to go with it if you want to portray the mood of World War II era. I expected all sorts of awful singing but not only was I terribly wrong, Keira Knightley is in fact a great singer and I’m still in awe.
This is the video clip from upcoming movie The Edge of Love where Keira plays character named Vera Philips, who’s the lover of Welsh poet named Dylan Thomas. The script for the movie was written by Keira’s mom Sharman Macdonald and is scheduled to hit the movie theater near you on June, 28 this year. The movie also stars Sienna Miller and Cillian Murphy.
The song in the video clip is titled “Blue Tahitian Moon” and Keira admitted she was terrified of the movie because she can’t sing. I’m not exactly sure what the heck she’s blabbering about, because I find her singing phenomenal. The singing is live - no lip syncing or other tricks. Keira Knightley used services of singing teacher to help her tweak the voice and gain confidence and I have to say it once more - it was well worth it.
