Were you one of the many who felt outraged by Kanye West ruining Taylor Swift’s big moment at MTV’s VMA? Has it ever occurred to you that it all could have been one big publicity stunt? What if none of what we have seen was real? What if all that fiasco was a staged, pre-planned production to boost publicity? As it turns out, both Kanye West and Taylor Swift have the same agent. His name is David Wirtschafter. Let’s do some loud thinking and you can do your own math yourself:

What if David Wirtschafter simply realized that most of TV viewers are brainless morans who will eat what they are served and will not only munch with their mouth closed, they will also pick their teeth when they are alone in the washroom. As history proves us, manipulating masses is this easy.

Given the above, what if David Wirtschafter who represents both Kanye West and Taylor Swift, called them both up for the meeting and told them that MTV’s Video Music Awards is a good opportunity to stir controversy? Because controversy gets people talking and the more the people talk, the more the boring musicians such as Kanye West and Taylor Swift remain before public’s eyes and for as long as they are there, the public will spend money on their boring albums.

But how to pull off a publicity stunt that will work and get people talking? Afterall, they have other boring artists like Lady Gaga who’s also a shitty musician (it hurts to give her a title of a musician, but let’s leave it for now) desperate for attention and since her music sucks, she can only do try hard attempts to draw attention to herself.

In order to outdo a bunch of wannabies like Lady GaGa, one would have to come up with an idea for a publicity stunt that will not only shock, but also upset people. And what could possibly achieve both? How about Kanye West stepping in to ruin what people would see as big moment of Taylor Swift? This would definitely get everyone upset, all mainstream media would talk about it and the public would want to see who that poor Taylor Swift is again, since all they hear about from every angle is her and then some more of her.

To keep the momentum going, Kanye West who will also be talked about could go on apologizing to Taylor West ad nauseum until every single moran on the face of a planet has heard of both Kanye West and Taylor Swift and (hopefully) checked out their music while they’re at it.

Could it really be that Taylor Swift was not a victim but we the public are? Could it be that David Wirtschafter truly pulled off a well pre-arranged publicity stunt at MTV’s VMA that delivered and continues to deliver on the momentum? You be the judge. The fact remains that under the heading for “Agent”, both Kanye West and Taylor Swift have the same name – David Wirtschafter.

Darius Goes West is an award winning movie about 15 year old Darius Weems who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The documentary follows the journey of Darius Weems and his eleven friends as they go across America to Los Angeles where Darius is hoping to get his wheelchair pimped out by MTV’s Pimp My Ride.

Darius Goes West is an extraordinary and touching documentary. Because of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Darius Weems had never left his home town of Athens, Georgia. Then in 2005, when he was 15 he set out on his epic journey along with his friends and the film crew under direction of Logan Smalley. Since then, the movie has won awards at 27 film festivals.

Darius Weems is now 18 year old and the crew who previously got together to film Darius Goes West are back together again, this time with a mission to sell one million copies of the movie on DVD. The discs sell for $20, and with each DVD sold, $17 will go towards the efforts to treat or cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This genetic disease claimed the life of Darius’ brother who died at the age of 19. On a worldwide scale, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is the #1 terminal genetic disease for children. MTV’s 2008 VMA (Video Music Awards) started to look pretty boring, but luckily Pink came on the scene and saved the day with her wardrobe malfunction. She had a little nip slip, that’s almost unseeable and really boring, but that was the only exciting part at these VMAs. Seriously, what kind of music awards is it if there are no scandals attached to it. And there was nothing. I’m digging and digging and all I see is boring shit. Pink Wardrobe Malfunction was the best there is. You actually have to focus real hard to spot the nip slip and YouTube removed all better quality videos already so only crappy quality is available, but yeah – Pink Wardrobe Malfunction – Nip Slip At VMA video is the only little excitement besides Britney Spears mind-blowing opening speech.

This wardrobe malfunction will not make it as big as Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake one from 2004. There’s a little buzz about it, but it’ll be forgotten soon. Pink was singing her song “So What” from her upcoming album “Funhouse” and her boob with nipple came out of her loose dress as she was jumping up and down the stage like wounded donkey.

Steve-O (real name Stephen Glover) 33 years old star of MTV’s series Jackass has been admitted to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles where he’s being held on suicide watch.

Star Magazine reports that Steve-O is stabilized on medications but injuries appearing to be cigarette burns have been found on his skin. Steve-O was formerly on a 72-hour hold but Star Magazine reports that his stay has been extended to two weeks.

Steve-O apparently emailed suicide notes to his friend, which is a weird thing to do. I don’t remember any real suicidal person to walk around with a poster that he’s going to take his wife prior to committing the deed. Sounds like a lame publicity stunt. More so because Steve-O blames screwed up relationship for his suicidal mindset. What is he fucking 15? That’s not how 33 years old gown ups act. Hang on a second – did I just say word “grown-up”? I did so. Nevermind, let’s leave Steve-O from the sentence that contains that phrase.

Anyway, there’s evidently also a severe case of untreated bipolar disorder in play which may have played a major role in Steve-O’s suicide tendencies.
