Brittany Murphy who died last Sunday starred in a movie called Deadline. Before her death, Brittany posed for a poster for said movie in which she is depicted lying dead in the bathtub. A DVD rental company RedBox is now trying to remove all of the posters from outdoor displays and 19,000 kiosks that still contain the graphic. RedBox claims that it will take 7 to 10 days to complete the emergency recall entirely. Some reports say that when dead body of Brittany Murphy was found by her mother, she was lying in the bathtub. If that’s true, that would make the existence of the poster really shocking and ironic. Meantimely, the preparations for Brittany Murphy’s funeral are well under way.

As it was with Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy did not ring many bells for many people, but after her shocking death her name is all over the place and revenue for the movies she starred in will likely go up. That’s why The Dark Knight cashed in so much. Deadline will probably earn way more than production company anticipated. Death has some serious magic to it.

Marcia Nasatir and Lorenzo Semple Jr. aka Reel Geezers shared their (valid) opinions about The Dark Knight, the most overhyped movie of all time. They’re definitely right about everything they say, and they haven’t even covered all aspects of why The Dark Knight Sucked.

Reel Geezers loved the performance of Heath Ledger, but that’s about the only worthy part of The Dark Knight. And I have to agree. Take away The Joker and what you have left is a “joke” of a movie. Yes, The Dark Knight broke boxoffice records, but tht doesn’t necessarily mean it was a good movie.

It all boiled down to one thing which I completely agree with. Reel Geezers believe that the success of The Dark Knight was due to death of Heath Ledger and they’re right. RIP Heath

Producers of one of the most anticipated movies of 2008 – “The Dark Knight” have released new trailer and as expected, it delivers.

The sequel to Batman Begins has some impressive special effects and the performances of actors, including deceased Heath Ledger in role of The Joker are mind blowing – Imagination is more important that knowledge… Damn!

Maggie Gyllenhaal plays the leading lady, but is the love triangle the part of the movie plot? It’ll be a real let down if that’s the case. I guess Hollywood can’t produce a high budget, mainstream movie without some sort of love crap getting in the way and good guys beating bad guys. Crap!

I’m not particularly fond of Maggie Gyllenhaal, but I do think her acting skills are better than those of Katie Holmes who sucked in previous Batman movie.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to see The Dark Knight as soon as it is released. I need to fix bad impression I got from badly filmed previous Batmans.

Aside from above mentioned Heath Ledger and Maggie Gyllenhaal, The Dark Knight stars an impressive line of actors, including Christian Bale (as Batman), Aaron Eckhart (District Attorney Harvey Dent), Micheal Caine, Gary Oldman (Lieutenant Jim Gordon) and Morgan Freeman.

Christian Bale of course stared as Batman in prequel to The Dark Knight – Batman Begins both of which were directed by Christopher Nolan.

Why so serious?

British The Sun has released 2 new pictures of Heath Ledger as the Joker. The still are of course from the upcoming movie The Dark Knight by Christopher Nolan.

One of the pictures shows Heath Ledger dressed up as a doctor and the other one has a Joker as the cop. Both pretty creepy which only proves that The Dark Knight movie is gonna kick some major ass.

If you have lived in a cave last few months, The Dark Knight is a sequel to The Batman Begins in which The Joker is an evil psychopath played by Heath Ledger. As we know, The Dark Knight is Heath’s last movie in which he stared and had all photography done before his passing in January. Click for more info on Heath Ledger’s Death. The Dark Knight will probably have been the biggest movie of Heath Ledger’s career. It’s sad this talented actor was lost to a prescription drug overdose.

Heath played The Joker alongside such actors as Christian Bale, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart and Michael Caine, who said Heath’s performance was so frightening, he often forgot his lines.
